How to search Orlando permits on the official portal

  1. From the city's Permits & Inspections page, open the project lookup tool under Check Permit Status.
  2. Search by permit number, address, project name or parcel ID.
  3. Read the prefixes: BLD building, ELE electrical, MEC mechanical, PLM plumbing, followed by year and number (BLD2026-01234).
  4. A new-home lot usually shows a BLD permit with ELE, MEC and PLM under the same project name. Missing trade rows can mean those subs aren't set yet.
  5. For bulk data, filter the ryhf-m453 dataset to Building Permit with work type New.
  6. Kissimmee and St. Cloud area permits are in Osceola County's Accela Citizen Access permit center.
